The force is strong… what side are you on?

In honor of the Star Wars: A New Hope taking over the world, I decided to create two make up looks in its honor. You pick which side you are on and follow my instructions to achieve the same look! MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

THE LIGHT SIDE:

Primer:
– Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
-Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal

Foundation:
-Stila Stay All Day Foundation
-Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal

I mixed both of these together and applied to face with a beauty blender.

Concealer:
-Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer
-Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
-Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder

I applied the Tarte concealer first, blended with a beauty blender, then followed with the NARS. I then
applied the brightening powder and let it sit while I do my eyes

Brows:
-It Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencil

Shadow:
-Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Color Palette in cool tones

Eye Liner:
-Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner

Mascara:
– L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Rock Mascara

Contour:
– LORAC Pro Contour Palette in light

I contoured very lightly for this look… and blended a lot! You want to over-blend so the you can’t tell where the contour starts and ends.

Blush:
– Too Faced in How Deep is Your Love

Lightly dust over the apples of your cheeks.

Bronzer:
– Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Apply the bronzer to the hollows of the cheeks, under nose, and along the hairline.

Highlight:
– Becca Highlighter in Champagne Pop

This highlighter is the key to achieving this look… First you dust it over your cheek bones, forehead, and chin. Next you can use a patting motion to pat it down the bridge of your nose, under your eyebrows, and the inner corner of your eyes. By patting it you are pressing more product into the skin, so you achieve a heavier look.

Lips:
– Revlon Color Stay Lip Liner in Soft Pink
– NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipstick in Cotton Candy
– MAC Lipglass in Oyster Girl

After you have applied the lip gloss pat some of the Champagne Pop Highlighter in the center of your lips.

THE DARK SIDE:

Brows:
– It Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencil

Shadow:
– Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Palette

I started with frisk all over the lid, then blended primal in the crease, last I swept undone in the outer corner of my eyes and along the lower lash line into the inner corner of my eyes. Don’t forget to BLEND!

Eye Liner:
-Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner

I went heavier than normal with the eyeliner to achieve this look. I applied it from the inner rim all the way out to a wing. Then went back over it with the eyeshadow undone.

Mascara:
– L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Rock Mascara

I applied 3 coats for this look.

Contour:
– LORAC Pro Contour Palette in light

Blush:
– NARS Blush in Sin

Bronzer:
– Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Apply the bronzer to the hollows of the cheeks, under nose, and along the hairline.

Highlight:
– Becca Highlighter in Moonstone

Lips:
– NYX Slim Lip Liner Pencil in Black Berry
– MAC lipstick in Media

I did not use any lip gloss for this look, I was wanting to achieve more of a matte look.
