Who inspires you?

I am blessed with an exceptional family. I can honestly say that each person in it inspires me; however, if I had to pick one person it would be my Nana.

She was a successful artist who passed down a love and appreciation of art in all forms to me. She recognized the talent that I possessed at a very young age and always pushed me to explore that! She always told me the only mistake you can make when creating art is to stop creating.

She had a love for nature and had me looking at life through an artist’s eyes at a very young age. She pointed out to me beautiful colors and shapes in simple everyday objects that most people would overlook. By her doing that, she trained my eye and helped mold my brain so that I could become the artist that I am today.

Favorite Food?

Cupcakes, gummy worms, and a bowl of fruit loops!

What is your dream vacation?

Greece! Sitting on a cliff in Santorini watching the sunset and sipping on some wine! Breathtaking!

What drives you to do what you do? What motivates you?

I am motivated every time a client sees themselves for the first time after I am finished with their hair and make up. I love being responsible for making them feel the most beautiful they have ever felt! Money can’t buy the high it gives me! I leave every job feeling excited for the next!

What is your favorite thing to do on an afternoon you have no plans or obligations?

A walk on the beach looking for shark’s teeth.

What is your beauty pet peeve?

Heavy handed eye liner! It should never be the first thing someone notices when they look at you. Liner is meant to make your lashes appear fuller…it’s not a crayon that you should line your whole eye with! Click here for help 🙂

Are you a dog or a cat person?

Is this a trick question? BOTH! I love animals; I have a French Bulldog and a Scottish Fold Munchkin cat. If it were an option I would live on a ranch in the middle of nowhere (but close enough to the beach) and have 10 of each!

When you are not working, what do you do?

I am either painting or outside. I love going on bike rides and finding new adventures!

What captivated you about the wedding industry?

I am enamored with the excitement that comes with weddings! It’s such an honor to be chosen to help create the look that the bride dreams of from the time she was a little girl! I love the getting ready process of the wedding day. It’s the ultimate girl time and I love being able to be a part of that!

What is your style?

Soft and feminine. I like girly things, light pinks, neutrals, and gold.

Who is your celebrity dream client?

This is hard…well, Angelina Jolie is in my opinion the most beautiful woman alive. So, as a hair and make up artist, she would be amazing to work on…. But, I also have to go with Kate Hudson. She is always glowing, and her hair and make up always look so fresh and natural. Plus… I want to be her bestie!

What is your best beauty tip?

Smile! It is the quickest makeover. “Happy girls are the prettiest!”- Audrey Hepburn
